Millie Bobby Brown está pronta para dizer adeus a 'Stranger Things'

Time to move on. Millie Bobby Brown says she’s looking forward to the end of Stranger Things.

In an interview with Glamour, Brown says she’s ready to say goodbye to the show and her breakout role as Eleven that launched her into stardom. She compares the upcoming end of the show to graduating from high school. “When you’re ready, you’re like, ‘All right, let’s do this. Let’s tackle this last senior year. Let’s get out of here,’” Brown, who was says. “Stranger Things takes up a lot of time to film and it’s preventing me from creating stories that I’m passionate about. So I’m ready to say, ‘Thank you, and goodbye.’”

Brown told the publication she’s ready for her next chapter, saying the show has given her “the tools and the resources to be a better actor.” But she is not mourning its end. “No one is dying, she said. “When it ends, I’m going to be able to still see these people.”

Brown received critical praise for her performance in Stranger Things. She was nominated for the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series and the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. She went on to share in the win for the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series and won the 43rd Saturn Award for Best Performance by a Younger Actor in a Television Series. For her role as Eleven in the second season of Stranger Things, she received her second nominations for a SAG Award and a Primetime Emmy Award in 2018.

The Netflix show itself has received 57 Primetime Emmy nominations and 12 wins since its launch.

Brown is next set to star opposite Chris Pratt in The Electric State, a postapocalyptic adventure movie from the Russo Brothers.
